Уважаемый губернатор

Законопроект который вы только что подписали, нацеленный на ЛГБТ граждан России, нарушает право на свободу слова и собрание, а также право равенства перед законом и право на защиту от дискриминации, гарантированными международным договором прав человека, в котором Россия является государством-участником.

Как гражданин такого великого государства как Россия, я потрясен таким позорным и безчеловечным законодательством Санкт-Петербурга. Этот регрессивный закон ранит Российскую Демократию! Такого рода движение вспять влияет на теперь беззащитных граждан ЛГБТ Российской Федерации. Эти граждане теперь подверженны ещё более крупному риску на их жизнь, помимо того что они не смогут получить доступ к информации, необходимой для их здоровья и благополучия. Физические и психологические последствия будут следовать за этим законом к теперь беззащитным гражданам России!

Вам должно быть совестно. Ведь Санкт-Петербург это лицо России и следовательно и этот город должен представлять собой развитое прогрессивное человечество. Вы идёте вспять прогрессу в области прав человека и в конечном итоге останетесь на противоположной стороне истории! Этот закон способствует демонизации и вызывает ещё больше причин для ненависти и криминализации честных, здоровых ЛГБТ граждан Pоссии. Как вам не стыдно!

Dear Governor

Тhe bill you just signed, targeting LGBTI citizens of Russia, violates the rights to freedom of expression and assembly, as well as the rights to non-discrimination and equality before the law, which are guaranteed by the international human rights treaties and to which Russia is a state party.

As a citizen of such a great country of the Russian Federation, I am appalled by the St. Petersburg’s shameful and repulsive to human rights legislation! This regressive law inflicts wounds to Russian Democracy, it also impacts now defenseless freedoms of LGBTI citizens of Russian Federations, who are no longer be able to access information vital to their health and well being. Physical and psychological consequences are to follow on the most defenseless citizens of Russia!

SHAME ON YOU, St. Petersburg is the face of Russia and it suppose to represent progressive humanity. You are undoing the years of progress for human rights and will end up on the wrong side of the history! This law promotes demonization and causes more reasons for hatred and criminalization of sincere and healthy LGBTI citizens of Russian Federation.

In 1942, Pittsburgh artist J. Howard Miller was hired by the Westinghouse Company's War Production Coordinating Committee to create a series of posters for the war effort. One of these posters became the famous "We Can Do It!" image—an image that in later years would also be called "Rosie the Riveter"

But the fact is even in today’s progress of our modern society many women in the world still paid less then men, women are still not presented in equal numbers in leadership, in business, and in politics. In the most recent fiasco in the United States of America an all-male panel of religious leaders testifying against contraceptive coverage for women infront of the House Oversight Committee hearing is a proof of regressive politics and a reminder that we still live in a world full of discrimination, inequalities, double standards, bigotry and hypocrisy.

As you may see today, in the 21st Century, we still have many reason to continue raise awareness and celebrate holidays such as International Women’s Day. So, let this fabulous sunny spring day of March 8th be the symbol of hope for the social justice, human rights and equality for all people in the world.

I enjoyed reading these books when I was a teen. These novels are definitely a must-read for dreamers with a ton of creative imagination. Oh, wow, I remember a bunch of sleepless nights, full of colorful SciFi dreams with the hint of red dust. Did you know this is actually a 13-book series “John Carter of Mars?” If you care for my opinion, they are awesome!

The story takes place on Mars as an American guy, John Carter, ends up on the red planet and over time becomes a leader of Marsians. I am sure this is going to be compared to Avatar. Sure, there are similarities, however, the stories are very diverse and full of adventures. Colorful worlds, weird but beautiful creatures, and never-ending battle of good and evil. It takes a real human to make an “ugly but beautiful” leader.

So this is also a good movie to watch this spring. Leave it up to Disney to come out with the movie which is possibly going to become an awesome franchise. The Movie is also entitled “John Carter.” Release date: March 9, 2012. Here is the trailer:
